How do I list an item?

  1. Tap the + icon on the bottom navigation bar
  2. Write a name and description of the item you want to sell
  3. Upload photos of the item
  4. Decide on a price (don’t forget about the commission)
  5. Select the colour, category, size and condition to help buyers easily find your item
  6. Tap ‘List this item’ and you’re good to go!

How do I change the price of my listed item?

Tap on the listing you want to change, then tap ‘edit listing.’ Adjust the price to the desired amount, then tap publish.

Is there a fee for selling on Hazaar?

It is free to list an item on your page, however, there is a 10% commission from sales, and our payment provider (Stripe) charges 1.5% + 20p per sale. You do not need to do anything, as these commissions are deducted before you receive your payment from the buyer.

What if the QR code doesn’t work?

Here are a few troubleshooting tips you can try:

  • Check you have a strong internet connection and good signal strength
  • Both the seller and the buyer should refresh the app (close the app completely, also in the background) and re-open the app and start over, try scanning the QR code again

The buyer hasn’t turned up to collect their purchase, what should I do?

Try messaging the buyer through the app in case they are running late or not sure where to go. Unfortunately, if someone decides not to show, you won’t receive your payment.

The buyer is asking for a refund, how does this work?

Please refer to the app terms and conditions. Complaints, questions and claims related to a Sale Item should be directed to the buyer or seller.
